Phonelab Group Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a mobile device repair technician to diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on smartphones, with emphasis on motherboard and component-level work.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to communicate technical issues to customers, and willingness to work six days a week; experience in retail and customer service is a plus, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Technical proficiency in mobile phone hardware repair and software troubleshoot.
• Hands on experience handling motherboard issues and component replacement.
• Experience in retails operation and customer service is advantageous.
• Fluency in English / multilingual communication preferred.
• Computer literate (basic).
• Able to work 6 days a week and be disciplined.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware and software issues in mobile phones using diagnostic tools.
• Perform component-level repairs, including soldering/desoldering on circuit boards.
• Replace damaged components such as screens, batteries and ports.
• Troubleshoot software issues and perform flashing when needed.
• Communicate repair solutions clearly to customers and maintain records.
