Job summary

Apex Group seeks a Senior Manager for Property & Facilities Management in Kuala Lumpur to lead the Group's property function, overseeing offices and owned properties, space planning, and cost efficiency.

You will drive regulatory compliance, vendor governance, leasing coordination, and CAPEX/OPEX budgeting while collaborating with HR, Legal, IT, and business heads to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient workplaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Surveying, or related fields.
• Professional certifications such as IFMA, RICS, or BOMA are an advantage.
• 8–12 years of experience in property and/or facilities management.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience in financial services, capital markets, or regulated industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full portfolio of Apex Group offices and owned properties.
• Develop and implement a Group-wide property and facilities strategy.
• Ensure offices are space-efficient and cost-effective.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of facilities including M&E, HVAC, lifts, fire systems, cleaning, security, and upkeep.
• Establish preventive maintenance schedules and lifecycle replacement planning.
• Manage refurbishment, renovation, and fit-out projects.
