Job summary

Liberty General Insurance Berhad is seeking a capable Facilities/Property Manager to safeguard and maintain company facilities in Kuala Lumpur. The role covers repairs, maintenance, asset management, and coordination of renovation works across HQ and branch offices.

You will ensure timely project delivery, manage security, oversee supplier contracts, and uphold regulatory compliance, with a focus on cost control and efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Property Management or Real Estate Management is required.
• Experience in a Property Department or Assets Management is preferred.
• Familiarity with building services for office and commercial buildings is expected.
• Proficient in MS Office and PC literacy.
• Ability to liaise with management and other heads for project implementation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal facilities management, repairs and maintenance activities.
• Prepare proposals and monitor renovation work ensuring timely completion and cost control.
• Acquire and maintain company assets excluding IT assets.
• Maintain PABX and telecom systems to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with branch offices on upgrades and maintenance issues.
• Oversee office security, contracts with security services and asset protection.
• Liaise with external service providers to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Monitor office safety and implement improvement actions.
• Ensure cleanliness and adherence to service providers' plans.
• Prepare annual CAPEX and GA E plans.
• Support internal audits and regulatory compliance (BNM).
• Ensure legal/regulatory requirements are observed to avoid penalties.
• Provide efficient internal and external customer service and issue resolution.
• Regularly update property management guidelines and related circulars.

Education

Degree or Diploma in Property Management

Previous working experience in Property Department

Familiar with building services for office and commercial buildings

MS Office proficiency

Ability to interact with management and divisional Heads
