Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks an experienced Property/Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance and operations for a multi-tenant building in Malaysia. The role includes coordinating with vendors, ensuring safety, and managing budgets while maintaining high service quality and compliance with local regulations.

The candidate will supervise maintenance teams, conduct regular inspections, manage leases and tenant relations, and prepare monthly financial reports for owners or management companies.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management, facility management, or related field.
• Degree or diploma in property, hospitality, business, accounting, mechanical/electrical, architecture, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems.
• Oversee repairs, coordinate with vendors/contractors and maintenance teams.
• Conduct weekly inspections and ensure safety compliance.
• Manage waste, cleaning, security, and landscaping services.
• Serve as main contact for tenants and respond to inquiries and service requests.
• Coordinate tenant move-ins/outs and monitor lease compliance.
• Prepare monthly reports and budgets; monitor expenses within approved budgets.
• Hire and supervise third-party service providers; manage contracts and vendor performance.
• Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, incidents, and leasing documentation.
