Job summary

Deutsche Post is seeking a Business Development professional in Malaysia to drive sales and grow the contract logistics business within the 3PL sector. You will identify opportunities, develop strategies, and lead proposals and negotiations to expand our presence in key markets.

The role requires strong communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to manage P&L, with a focus on building long-term relationships with corporate customers and delivering revenue growth in the region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in BD, sales, or commercial roles in contract logistics/3PL.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Strong understanding of contract logistics and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets.
• Identify and report on business opportunities in target markets.
• Take responsibility for profit and loss.
• Increase market share and maximize new business opportunities.
• Achieve targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth.

• Business Development experience, including proposal design, costing, pricing, tender management and negotiation.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
