Job summary

Deutsche Post seeks a skilled professional to drive industrial projects within DHL Global Forwarding. You will align short- and long-term plans with regional leadership, ensuring profitable growth and strong customer engagement across key accounts.

Role requires strategic insight, market analysis, and excellent communication to influence stakeholders and execute cross-functional initiatives. Experience in oil & energy cargo is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline.
• 5 years of relevant experience preferably in an MNC environment. Experience in Oil & Energy industry or odd sized cargo movements is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong planning and organizing capabilities; proficient in MS Office.

Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Ensure delivery of the company’s short and long term plans through effective planning and organizing as supported by Regional Office.
• Ensure profitable growth and development of Industrial Projects.
• Market intelligence for Industrial Projects.
• Ensure regular and effective communication with senior management of customers through regular visits and performance reviews with them.
• Take corrective actions, when necessary, to ensure that DHL meets agreed KPI and provides the best DHL services to these customers.
• Participate and contribute to the Country’s Strategic Planning Process.
• Formulate and implement short & long term strategies by Industry Segment: product development, pricing, and competition, so as to develop and penetrate each of the segments through acquisition of business from targeted potential prospects as well as business expansion with existing customers.
• Consistently keep track with changes and trends of the environment (consisting of economic, market, customer and competition analyses through proper market intelligence system and regular environmental scan/tracking exercises so as to ensure continued profitable business growth for the company.
