Job summary

MRD in Malaysia is seeking an experienced logistics professional to manage import/export operations, customs clearance, and international shipment planning. You will oversee warehouse administration, inventory control, and ensure compliance with ISO standards and safety regulations.

The role requires 5+ years in logistics or warehouse operations, with strong knowledge of local and overseas customs procedures and proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/SAP systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Admin, International Trade, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, customs, or warehouse operations (manufacturing prefer).
• Knowledge of local/overseas customs procedures, MIDA requirements, MS Excel, and ERP/SAP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Import/export operations, customs clearance, liaising with MIDA and Royal Malaysian Customs.
• Domestic and international shipment planning and freight forwarder monitoring.
• Warehouse administration, goods issuance, GR entries, inventory tracking, cycle counting.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and safety/trade regulations.

• Import/export operations, customs clearance, and managing duty/tax exemptions (liaising with MIDA and Royal Malaysian Customs).
• Domestic and international shipment planning, monitoring freight forwarders, and logistics cost optimization.
• Warehouse administration, goods issuance, Goods Receipt (GR) entries, inventory tracking, and cycle counting.
• Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and safety/trade regulations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, International Trade, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, customs, or warehouse operations (preferably in manufacturing).
• Knowledge of local/overseas customs procedures, MIDA requirements, proficiency in MS Excel, and familiarity with ERP/SAP systems.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (required for frequent communication with colleagues in China).
