Jora Malaysia is seeking a logistics professional to manage import and export shipments, arrange sea, air and trucking movements, and prepare shipping documentation.
You will coordinate with freight forwarders, warehousing and production teams to ensure on-time cargo readiness, handle COO applications, and monitor costs. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; training will be provided; the role offers a 5-day week.

i. Handle import and export shipments and related logistics activities.
ii. Arrange sea, air, and trucking shipments according to business requirements.
iii. Coordinate with freight forwarders, hauliers, shipping lines, and other logistics service providers.
iv. Prepare, verify, and maintain shipping and logistics documentation.
v. Arrange container bookings, loading schedules, and shipment arrangements.
vi. Monitor shipment schedules, cargo readiness, and delivery status.
vii. Coordinate closely with Production and Warehouse to ensure timely cargo preparation.
viii. Handle customs clearance procedures and Certificate of Origin (COO) applications.
ix. Track shipment status and maintain accurate logistics records.
x. Monitor logistics costs, freight charges, and related invoices.
xi. Ensure shipments and deliveries are completed on time and according to requirements.
xii. Resolve logistics issues and support day-to-day logistics operations.
i. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
ii. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in logistics, shipping, import/export, or supply chain operations.
iii. Experience in handling sea, air, and trucking shipments.
iv. Familiar with import/export procedures, customs clearance, and shipping documentation.
v. Knowledge of Certificate of Origin (COO) application and related customs requirements is an advantage.
vi. Experience in coordinating with freight forwarders, hauliers, shipping lines, and customs agents.
vii. Good understanding of container booking, cargo loading, shipment scheduling, and delivery arrangements.
viii. Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and other departments.
ix. Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle logistics issues in a timely manner.
x. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP or logistics systems is an advantage.
xi. Detail-oriented, organized, responsible, and able to work under pressure to meet shipment deadlines.
xii. Good command of English is preferred for communication with overseas suppliers, customers, and China HQ.
