OM Materials (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Executive - Logistics Documentation to oversee import/export documentation and regulatory compliance across transportation, warehousing, and shipment operations. You will coordinate with warehouses, sales, trade, freight forwarders, and authorities to ensure compliant and efficient logistics execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, import/export documentation, supply chain, or transportation operations.
• Strong knowledge of import/export documentation, LMW requirements, customs procedures, duty and tax exemption processes, and transportation and logistics operations.
• Experience working with government agencies and other regulatory authorities is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and ERP/logistics systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, reporting, and documentation management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Well-versed in workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily logistics documentation and operational processes.
• Coordinates transportation activities and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely movement of raw materials and finished goods.
• Monitors shipment status, inventory movement, and logistics performance to supports operational reporting.
• Liaises with warehouses, sales teams, trade departments, freight forwarders, transporters, and regulatory authorities to ensures efficient logistics execution.
• Provides logistics data, reports, and analysis to supports production planning and business decision-making.
• Prepares, reviews, and manages import/export shipping documentation in accordance with regulatory and operational requirements.
• Prepares and submits applications including but not limited for: Import and export permits, Duty exemption applications, Manufacturing Warehouse licences and renewals.
• Ensures compliance with Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) regulations and coordinate with relevant government authorities.
• Verifies that permits, exemptions, and approvals are obtained before shipment clearance.
• Maintains accurate logistics records, reports, and document filing systems.
• Verifies supplier invoices and supporting documentation prior to approval submission.
• Supports cost-effective logistics execution through proper documentation and reporting.
• Assists in monitoring logistics-related expenditures and documentation accuracy.
• Able to support operational requirements outside normal working hours when necessary.
