MKS Inc. is seeking a seasoned Logistics Import & Export Officer to oversee the Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) operations in Malaysia. You will ensure customs compliance and smooth import/export flows across the supply chain.

Key duties include preparing reports, engaging with customs for licenses and renewals, and coordinating with freight forwarders and port authorities to ensure timely clearance. Strong knowledge of DagangNet, GPB systems and HS codes is essential.

Formación

• Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management and Customs with 7–10 years in LMW environments.
• Deep understanding of local and international import/export taxes, duties, HS codes and origin rules.
• Familiar with Free Trade Agreements, tariff classifications and customs procedures.
• Knowledge of DagangNet and Smart GPB system for regulatory submissions.
• High integrity, attention to detail and accurate documentation under minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; team player under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare LMW shipping reports including monthly/ yearly customs reports.
• Engage with customs agencies for licenses, renewals, and guarantees.
• Provide compliance guidance for import/export regulations and STA requirements.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, brokers, and port authorities for timely clearance.
• Submit submissions via DagangNet, Smart GPB, e-Declare, e-Permit and related portals.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of tariff codes, HS codes and calculation of duties.
• Audit import/export filings for accuracy and timeliness.
• Recommend improvements to procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Handle customs issues like holds, amendments, and re-submissions.
• Oversee daily import/export processes and documentation.
