Job summary

Shipco Transport Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a logistics coordinator to assist daily customer inquiries, liaise with carriers and warehouses, and monitor shipments from booking to arrival.

You will ensure timely documentation and compliance with SOPs while coordinating with sales and documentation teams. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Business/Logistics, speaks English, Malay, and Mandarin, and has at least 1 year of freight forwarding experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Logistics/Transportation or equivalent.
• English, Malay, Mandarin required; Mandarin preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients.
• At least 1 year of working experience in related field.
• Preferably experience in freight forwarding NVOCC industry.

Responsibilities

• Attend local and overseas customers’ inquiries pertaining to rates.
• Respond promptly to booking confirmations and shipment follow-up until cargo arrival.
• Prepare bookings and tele-market local customer cargoes.
• Arrange bookings and follow up container status with carriers.
• Coordinate with warehouse on container status and vessel changes.
• Prepare railing instructions and liaise with warehouse/truckers.
• Follow up with shippers on any packaging discrepancies.
• Ensure all shipping documents are ready within the time frame.
• Coordinate internally with sales and documentation team.
