Job summary

VAT Group in Malaysia seeks a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, multi-stream technology initiatives. You will drive end-to-end delivery of key IT projects as a senior leader in project execution and stakeholder alignment.

You will coordinate internal stakeholders, vendors and partners across global locations, manage scope, timelines and risks, facilitate governance, and ensure adoption of delivered solutions while advancing group-wide PM practices.

Qualifications

• Min 5-7 years experience of experience managing IT projects in mid- to large-scale environments.
• Able to demonstrat e capability to drive a project forward independently
• Strong track record of managing multi-stream projects with complex stakeholder landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium- to large-scale IT projects across multiple business and IT streams.
• Manage diverse stakeholders at different levels, ensuring alignment, transparency, and structured communication.
• Oversee project planning, execution, governance, and quality assurance.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of Digital Workplace and enterprise IT initiatives from initiation through go-live and handover.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, business representatives, vendors, and implementation partners across global locations.
• Manage project scope, timeline, risks, dependencies, and decision-making to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Facilitate workshops, project meetings, steering committees, and stakeholder alignment activities.
• Proactively identify delivery risks and drive mitigation actions to keep projects on track.
• Maintain clear project plans, status updates, RAID logs, and executive reporting.
• Ensure projects align with business priorities, portfolio governance, and available delivery capacity.
• Support business case development, project intake, prioritization, and governance processes where required.
• Coordinate project transitions into operational support and promote adoption of delivered solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices within the global IT organization.
