Job summary

VAT Group AG is seeking a Team Leader Engineering - Project Management to guide the local Project Management team in Malaysia and drive the execution of a strategic multi-project portfolio. The role emphasizes governance, resource alignment, and performance across sites.

You will oversee project delivery, engage with global functions in a matrix setup, and help scale project management practices while ensuring on-time, on-budget outcomes with quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of proven project or program leadership experience in manufacturing, engineering, or a similar tech environment.
• Minimum 5 years of people, team, or department management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the local Project Management team with clear objectives and development plans.
• Own execution of the strategic multi-project portfolio with visibility of priorities, risks and resources.
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, cost and quality.
