Job summary

JLL invites applications for a Senior OT IT Facilities role based in Kulim/Penang Island, Malaysia. The position involves designing, configuring and maintaining IT infrastructure, with emphasis on security, backups, and cloud integration. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT, engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of IT support or system/network administration experience.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and security systems.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Mac OS; monitoring tools.
• Solid cybersecurity fundamentals and ability to diagnose issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including server uptime, network speed, and security.
• Install and set up new computer systems, servers, workstations, and applications.
• Respond to user-reported technical issues and resolve hardware, software, or network problems.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to fix system errors or inefficiencies.
• Ensure backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place and tested.
• Migrate IT infrastructure to cloud platforms or integrate new systems.
• Maintain records of configurations, incidents, and maintenance schedules.
• Stay updated on industry trends and propose improvements to infrastructure.
