Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Facilities Engineer (Information Technology) to design, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure across Bayan Lepas and Kulim, Malaysia. You will ensure uptime, security, and seamless integration of systems to support facilities operations.

The role requires 3–5 years of IT support/system/network experience, strong networking knowledge, and proficiency across Windows, Linux, and Mac OS, with cloud platform experience (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years IT support or system/network administration experience.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Proficient in Windows, Linux, and Mac OS; cybersecurity practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including server uptime and network performance.
• Install and set up new computer systems, servers, and applications.
• Respond to user-reported issues and troubleshoot hardware, software, or connectivity.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot system errors or inefficiencies.
• Ensure regular backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Migrate IT infrastructure to cloud platforms or integrate new systems.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide technical IT support to staff and resolve issues quickly.
