Job summary

JLL Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Facilities I&C Engineer to support instrumentation and control systems across a Penang electronics manufacturing facility and on-site Data Center. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in facilities I&C engineering in semiconductor/electronics/high-tech environments.
• Good knowledge of BMS, EMS, SCADA, and PLC/DCS systems.
• Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation for HVAC, utilities, and cleanroom environments.
• Proficiency with CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo).
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and control logic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Manage operation, calibration, and maintenance of facility instrumentation including sensors and transmitters.
• Oversee and optimize BMS, EMS, and SCADA platforms for real-time monitoring and control.
• Ensure integration of instrumentation for HVAC, utilities, and cleanroom systems.
• Develop and implement SOPs and performance measures for reliability.
• Lead testing, commissioning, and simulations; perform RCA and CAPA.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for upgrades and projects.
• Maintain documentation including control diagrams and calibration records.
