Job summary

A telecommunications firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled individual to design and build IP Networks for large enterprise customers. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in IP networks, with strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS routing protocols. Responsibilities include crafting technical proposals, managing network compliance, and providing 24/7 technical support. Job description

This is an exciting job whereby you will be designing and building IP Networks for large Enterprise customers in Malaysia and also involved in submarine cable systems using the latest DWDM optical network technologies. The experience earned will elevate your competency in the field of data communications networks for Enterprises and also expose you to subsea optical network engineering. It requires the candidate to have agile and strategic thinking capabilities to help scale R ~Nets' top line.

What you will do:

• Work with the Sales team to craft competitive technical proposals, prepare quotations, and engage with clients to understand their technical challenges.
• Develop bidding specifications and design technical solutions for ePerolehan, RFPs, and tenders, including bid preparation and submission via electronic platforms.
• Periodic network review of Customers' networks against BNM RMiT policies for compliance.
• Manage a team to provide 24/7 technical support to Customers.
• Participate in full-stack projects for AI, Cloud networking and ContainerLab.
• Participate in DWDM optical network projects.

Skills & Competencies for Success:

• At least 10 years of hands‑on work experience in IP networks.
• Preferred with minimum Cisco CCNP or equivalent qualification.
• Deep know‑how in IP network routing with detailed working knowledge in BGP, OSPF and IS‑IS routing protocols.
• Customer‑focused approach with the ability to build and sustain strong client relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Disciplined and strong follow‑up with external and internal stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
