Job summary

Ace Cabinet Design Marketing Sdn. Bhd. in Semenyih, Selangor, invites a Senior Interior Designer to lead interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects.

You will refine proposals, develop moodboards, and ensure cohesive design directions across materials, lighting and finishes. You will mentor junior designers, translate concepts into technical drawings, and collaborate with sales, production and installation teams to deliver practical, high-quality designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant interior design experience; cabinetry/renovation is a plus.
• Strong portfolio in residential interior design and 3D visualization.
• Strong AiHouse expertise with ability to produce high-quality 3D visualizations.
• Working knowledge of CAD and Photoshop is required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Ace Cabinet Design Marketing Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a talented Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. As an Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in conceptualising and executing exceptional design solutions for our diverse range of clients. This is a full-time position based in Semenyih, Selangor, where you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects.

Job Description

1. Interior Design & Concept Development

Develop and lead interior design concepts, moodboards and design directions based on client requirements and current design trends.

Provide design advice beyond custom cabinetry, including colour schemes, wall paint, ceiling, lighting, flooring, furniture, materials and overall styling.

Develop and maintain design package booklets and style references based on different interior styles and current trends.

Review and refine design proposals to ensure a cohesive, polished and visually appealing overall concept.

Create suitable colour palettes and material combinations according to the overall design style.

Keep updated with new materials, products and current interior design trends.

Review CAD drawings, 3D renderings and design proposals to ensure quality, accuracy and design consistency.

Revise or restructure designs where necessary to improve visual refinement, depth, balance and practicality.

Ensure cabinetry design integrates well with the overall interior concept.

Ensure design presentations effectively communicate the proposed concept and overall visual direction.

3. Software and Technical Skills

Proficient in AiHouse for 3D modelling, material mapping, lighting setup and high-quality rendering.

Able to use Photoshop for design presentation and visual enhancement.

Good working knowledge of CAD for design and drawing review.

Knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max or other 3D software is an advantage.

Able to translate design concepts into clear and detailed technical drawings.

4. Team Guidance & Collaboration

Guide and mentor junior designers in design development, rendering techniques, colour coordination, and spatial aesthetics.

Guide the team in optimizing AiHouse rendering efficiency and output quality.

Support salesperson with design advice and visual direction when required.

Review junior designers' work and provide constructive feedback to maintain consistent design standards.

Work closely with sales, production and installation teams to ensure designs are practical and achievable.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related field.

Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant interior design experience. Experience in custom cabinetry or residential renovation is a strong advantage.

Strong portfolio in residential interior design and 3D visualization.

Strong AiHouse expertise with the ability to produce high-quality 3D visualizations efficiently.

Working knowledge of CAD and Photoshop is required.

Strong understanding of interior styles, colour matching, material selection, lighting, furniture and renovation concepts.

Strong attention to detail and design aesthetics.

Good communication and presentation skills.

Able to guide, mentor and provide design direction junior designers.
