You will lead junior designers and collaborate with the Design Director to translate concepts into precise technical drawings. You will take design leadership, provide technical oversight of 3D visuals and AutoCAD sets, develop mood boards and material palettes, and coordinate with contractors while assisting the QS with BQs and site supervision.

In this role, you won’t just be "drawing"- you will be a key collaborator to the Design Director, leading junior talent and ensuring that world-class concepts are translated into flawless technical realities.
Design Leadership: Partner with the Design Director in client consultations to capture project briefs. Translate these high-level visions into actionable design directions for junior designers and 3D visualizers.
Technical Oversight: Review and vet 3D visuals and AutoCAD sets (layout plans, fit-out, and joinery details) to ensure accuracy before final Director approval.
Concept Development: Lead the creation of mood boards, material palettes, and schematic designs that push creative boundaries.
Project Synergy: Act as the technical bridge between the office and the site. Coordinate with contractors, assist the QS with BQs, and perform site supervision to ensure craftsmanship meets our standards.
Problem Solving: Proactively identify critical site or design issues and provide solutions before they impact the project timeline.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Interior Design.
Technical Mastery: Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp (Enscape), and Photoshop. You should be comfortable jumping into a drawing to refine details when necessary.
Education: Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Interior Design/Architecture.
Leadership: Proven ability to mentor junior designers and interns while working independently.
Communication: Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin proficiency is a bonus for client liaison).
Mobility: Must possess own transport and be willing to work in Setia Alam.
