Job summary

Ace Cabinet Design Marketing Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Interior Designer to conceptualise and execute exceptional design solutions for a diverse client base. This full-time role is based in Semenyih, Selangor, with opportunities to work on residential and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.

Ace Cabinet Design Marketing Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. As an Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in conceptualising and executing exceptional design solutions for our diverse range of clients. This is a full-time position based in Semenyih, Selangor, where you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects.

Understand Client Needs: Meeting with sales person, understand client design needs, preference etc.

Understanding manufacturing process of cabinet.

2. Design & Space Planning

3D Rendering & Drafting: Utilize software such as AiHouse, AutoCAD, or SketchUp to produce detailed 3D renderings and technical layout drawings.

Functional Optimization: Ensure designs balance aesthetics and functionality by incorporating ergonomics, workflow efficiency, and plumbing/electrical considerations.

Technical & System Mastery: Possess a strong understanding of cabinet structures, standard dimensions, and modular joinery while efficiently utilizing design systems such as DMS and AiHouse.

Requirements

• Work closely with the salesperson and production team to ensure that the proposed designs are practical, feasible, and can be executed effectively during production and installation.
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the interior design industry, preferably in a similar role
• Strong technical skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as AI House, Coohom, AutoCAD, SketchUp and DMS
• Excellent visualisation and presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas
• Attention to detail and the ability to work within budgetary and timeline constraints
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with clients and project teams
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia & English
• Mandarin-speaking ability is an added advantage
