Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in organizational change, restructuring, or transformation projects.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple HR functions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of compensation structures and benefits policies within HR practices.
• Experience with immigration processes, including work visas and permits is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR functions: recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, payroll processing, and benefits administration.
• Collaborate with department heads to assess staffing needs and develop retention strategies.
• Support organizational development and change management, including workforce restructuring and culture change programs.
• Handle employee grievances, performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and industrial regulations, including government reports, audits and permits.
• Partner with senior management to develop HR strategies aligning with business objectives.
• Design and implement employee development programs focusing on skill-building, leadership, and performance improvement.
• Review compensation structures and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness.
• Manage work permits, immigration compliance and documentation for expatriates and foreign employees.
