Job summary

Benchmark Electronics is seeking an HR Generalist to support a broad range of HR functions with a focus on Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, Employee Engagement, and Learning & Development.

The role partners with employees and managers to foster a positive workplace culture, ensure compliance with Malaysia employment laws and company policies, and drive development initiatives to enhance engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• 1–2 years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR practices.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary issues and investigations.
• Plan and coordinate employee engagement, wellness, recognition, and team-building activities.
• Support employee communications and initiatives to enhance workplace culture and retention.
• Coordinate training programs, maintain training records, and support learning and development initiatives.
• Prepare HR documentation, reports, and employee-related correspondence.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and guidance on HR policies.
