Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a hands-on Senior HR Executive to join our team as an HR Generalist. You will oversee HR operations, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement and recruitment, collaborating with the HR Manager and HODs to support daily HR matters.

In this role you will help improve processes, ensure compliance with Malaysian employment regulations, manage records and payroll-related tasks, and contribute to a positive work environment across the organization.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation, statutory contributions and payroll administration.
• Experience in HR operations, employee relations and performance management.
• Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, manage priorities and handle confidential matters professionally.
• Detail-oriented, resourceful and able to research HR-related matters independently.

Responsibilities

• HR Operations & Benefits: Handle daily HR operations, including employee records, attendance, leave, onboarding and offboarding.
• Payroll-related matters, staff claims and benefits administration.
• Maintain HR documentation and ensure compliance with Malaysian employment regulations.
• Performance Management & Employee Relations: KPI tracking, performance reviews, probation assessments and confirmations.
• Support employee relations matters, including workplace concerns and disciplinary procedures.
• Employee Engagement & Development: Organise engagement activities, events and team-building programmes.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives to support employee growth.
• Talent Acquisition: Support recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviews and onboarding.
