We are looking for a Senior HR Generalist to join our HR team and take ownership of key HR activities across Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, and expatriate support. This is a hands‑on and broad HR role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across different HR areas, partnering with employees and managers, and making a practical impact on the employee experience. You will also work closely with the HR team to provide coverage and support when team members are away, ensuring smooth and continuous HR service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day compensation and benefits activities
- Participate in salary and benefits market surveys and analyze market data
- Support annual salary review, performance bonus, and incentive exercises
- Prepare and monitor C&B budgets and forecasts together with Finance
- Review employee benefits and recommend improvements based on market practices, employee needs, and cost
- Review and validate third‑party payroll vendor deliverables to ensure payroll is accurate and timely
- Work with payroll vendors to resolve payroll issues and improve service quality
- Responsible to the relevant compliance to government and statutory bodies
- Manage the annual Learning & Development plan and budget
- Coordinate training programs, vendors, schedules, and employee participation
- Work with managers to identify training and development needs.
- Track training effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve learning programs.
- Plan and support employee engagement, recognition, and wellbeing initiatives
- Coordinate employee engagement surveys and follow‑up activities.
- Gather and analyze employee feedback and identify opportunities to improve the employee experience.
- Support HR activities that build a positive and engaging workplace.
- Provide HR support and advice to employees and managers on HR policies and workplace matters
- Handle and support disciplinary, grievance, performance, and other employee relations matters
- Coordinate with internal teams and external providers on immigration, relocation, benefits, and other expatriate‑related matters.
- Prepare HR reports, analysis, and workforce information for management.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data.
- Support HR projects, process improvements, audits, and other HR initiatives.
- Provide backup support to other HR team members when they are away from work, ensuring continuity of HR services.
- Support other HR activities as required
About you
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience
- Good knowledge of HR policies and employment practices
- Strong Excel, analytical, and reporting skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Mature and comfortable handling confidential and sensitive employee matters
- A hands‑on team player who is willing to support across different areas of HR
