Job summary

Houzs Century Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an HR Generalist TA to manage end-to-end recruitment, payroll, employee relations and HR operations within a fast-growing HR team.

You will ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws, maintain HRIS records, prepare weekly HR updates and reports, and support policy improvements while delivering practical HR solutions for our diverse workforce and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant HR experience.
• Experience in recruitment, payroll and HR operations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements.
• Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, onboarding and offboarding.
• Monitor attendance, behaviour and performance; handle employee relations matters, investigations and disciplinary documentation.
• Manage monthly payroll accurately and on time, including attendance verification, overtime, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, leave adjustments, claims, salary advances and payroll reporting.
• Maintain and update employee records, HRIS databases and HR documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws, statutory requirements and HR best practices; support policy implementation and improvement.
• Prepare and provide weekly HR updates and reports to management and stakeholders.
• Perform other HR, Talent Acquisition, payroll and administrative duties as assigned by management.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple HR functions while ensuring compliance with company policies and Malaysian employment regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume screening, interviews, interview coordination, salary negotiation, onboarding and offboarding.

Monitor employee attendance, behaviour and performance; handle employee relations matters, investigations, misconduct cases and disciplinary documentation.

Manage and process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including attendance verification, overtime calculations, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, leave adjustments, claims, salary advances, commissions and payroll reporting.

Maintain and update employee records, HRIS databases and HR documentation, including recruitment, payroll, attendance and disciplinary records.

Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws, statutory requirements and HR best practices, and support the implementation and improvement of HR policies and procedures.

Prepare and provide weekly HR updates and reports covering recruitment progress, payroll matters and HR operational issues to management and key stakeholders.

Perform other HR, Talent Acquisition, payroll and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or equivalent.

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant HR experience.

Experience in recruitment, payroll and HR operations is an advantage.

Knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements.

Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems is an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented, proactive and able to work independently and meet deadlines.
