We are seeking arecruitment-focused HR professional with understanding of theMalaysian Employment Act 1955 to join our team. You will manage theend-to-end recruitment lifecycle to support our company's growth, while also assisting in HR operations and office administration.
End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full cycle from job requisition to offer acceptance, including:
Drafting job descriptions and posting onJobStreet, LinkedIn, MyFutureJob, and other portals.
Proactive sourcing through job boards, social media, headhunting, networking, and referrals.
Screening, shortlisting, and coordinating interviews.
Administering reference checks and background verifications.
Preparing offer proposals for review and approval by the HR Manager.
Supporting offer negotiations and candidate closure as directed.
Talent Pipeline: Maintain a candidate database to reduce time-to-hire.
Hiring Needs: Support Department Heads by understanding role requirements and assisting in defining job descriptions.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitate new hire orientation and manage exit clearance processes.
Employee Records: Maintain accurate personnel files in compliance withEmployment Act 1955 andPDPA.
Disciplinary Support: Assist the Manager in handling disciplinary matters with basic knowledge of EA 1955 and IR Act.
Payroll Support: Assist in compiling and verifying monthly payroll inputs (attendance, leave, overtime).
Office Management: Oversee office supplies, equipment, pantry, and vendor liaison.
Hostel Administration: Oversee the day-to-day administration of company-hostel arrangements, including coordinating maintenance, repairs, and vendor communications.
Documentation: Handle mail, courier services, and company records.
Event Coordination: Support company events, town halls, and team-building activities.
Provide general administrative and operational support as required.
Undertake any other duties or projects assigned from time to time.
Education: Degree inHuman Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: Minimum5 years in an HR role with aproven track record in end-to-end recruitment.
Legal Knowledge: Understanding of theMalaysian Employment Act 1955 is mandatory. Knowledge of the Industrial Relations Act is an added advantage.
Language: Must be fluent in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients (written and spoken).
Technical Skills:
Must be familiar with JobStreet, LinkedIn Recruiter, MyFutureJob, and other portals.
Proficient inMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with payroll/HRIS systems is an added advantage.
