Job summary

Teedo Hotel Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated Senior Housekeeping Supervisor to lead floor operations and ensure outstanding room cleanliness and guest comfort. You will inspect rooms, coach attendants, and coordinate with the Front Office to ensure timely room availability.

Qualifications

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills; ability to motivate staff and coordinate smoothly with other departments.
• Flexibility: Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Quality Inspections: Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public spaces, and back-of-house areas daily to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Shift Leadership: Conduct morning shift briefings, assign room sections to attendants, monitor productivity, and assist during high-occupancy days.
• Front Office Liaison: Work with Front Office to prioritize turnarounds, update room status in PMS, and report VIP setups.
• Training & Coaching: Mentor and train housekeeping staff on cleaning protocols, safety, and guest interaction.
• Maintenance Reporting: Identify defects or safety hazards and issue work orders to Engineering/Maintenance.
• Stock & Inventory Control: Track linen counts, amenities, cleaning supplies, and lost-and-found items.

In this role, you will be a key leader on the floor, ensuring our room attendants meet top-tier quality standards while helping the department run efficiently day-time.

Job Summary

The Senior Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for inspecting guest rooms and public areas, coaching room attendants, and assisting the Team Leader Housekeeper with daily operational planning. You will act as a bridge between the housekeeping floor team and the Front Office to ensure rooms are cleaned, inspected, and made available for arriving guests on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Inspections: Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public spaces, and back-of-house areas daily to ensure strict adherence to hotel cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Shift Leadership: Conduct morning shift briefings, assign room sections to attendants, monitor floor productivity, and step in to clean or assist during high-occupancy days.
• Front Office Liaison: Work closely with the Front Office team to prioritize room turnarounds, update room status in the Property Management System (PMS), and report VIP setups.
• Training & Coaching: Mentor and train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning protocols, chemical safety, machine operation, and guest interaction.
• Maintenance Reporting: Identify room defects, maintenance issues, or safety hazards and immediately issue work orders to the Engineering/Maintenance team.
• Stock & Inventory Control: Assist with tracking daily linen counts, room amenity stock, cleaning supplies, and lost-and-found items.
