Job summary

Planet Mentari Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a hotel housekeeping supervisor to oversee daily cleaning of guest rooms, suites and villas, ensuring 5-star luxury standards are met.

You will inspect rooms, coordinate with Front Office, supervise room attendants and public areas, provide on-the-job training, and respond promptly to guest requests. Minimum 2–3 years in housekeeping with supervisory experience in luxury properties is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of housekeeping experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel/resort.
• Minimum 2-year supervisory experience in a similar position.
• Previous experience in a luxury resort, boutique hotel, villa resort or beach resort is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cleaning and servicing of guest rooms, suites and villas.
• Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure they meet the resort's 5-star luxury standards.
• Check cleanliness, room presentation, linen, amenities, bathroom condition and overall guest comfort.
• Ensure all VIP, room's, special-occasion and repeat-guest rooms receive appropriate attention.
• Verify room status and coordinate room readiness with Front Office.
• Supervise and inspect the cleanliness and presentation of public area.
• Supervise Room Attendants, Public Area Attendants and other assigned housekeeping team members.
• Conduct daily briefing and allocate work assignments.
• Monitor staff productivity, attendance, grooming and discipline.
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and complaints.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service
• Monitor linen, towels, guest amenities and housekeeping supplies.
• Ensure correct stock levels are maintained.
