Job summary

STMicroelectronics Malaysia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for FOL Assembly to lead and manage equipment maintenance in a high‑volume semiconductor line. You will drive preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot complex failures and maximize equipment availability.

You will lead a team of technicians, plan maintenance activities, and collaborate closely with Production, Process Engineering and Quality to sustain uptime, quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree and hands-on maintenance experience in semiconductor equipment.
• Experience with FOL Assembly equipment and supporting processes is highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance activities for FOL Assembly equipment.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex failures.
• Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering, and Quality to resolve equipment issues.
• Coach and develop a team of technicians/engineers and manage workload.
