Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for FOL Assembly to lead equipment maintenance in a semiconductor environment. The role focuses on high availability, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and continuous improvement across FOL assembly lines.

You will manage a team of technicians/engineers, plan maintenance, and coordinate with Production, Process Engineering and Quality to resolve issues and optimize OEE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a related engineering field.
• 3–7 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or equipment maintenance, preferably in Assembly.
• Strong hands‑on experience with FOL Assembly equipment.
• Proven ability in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and root‑cause analysis.
• Experience leading or supervising a team of technicians or engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day maintenance activities for FOL Assembly equipment.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Lead troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for complex failures.
• Ensure equipment availability, reliability and performance to support production.
• Develop team technical competency through coaching and training.
• Promote safety, quality and continuous‑improvement within the team.
