Job summary

Advantest in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Field Service professional to provide onsite support for handling and probing, with a focus on thermal issues and reliability improvements.

You will work with GSEC and R&D, contributing to product improvements, NPI evaluation, and knowledge transfer to field engineers and customers. Willingness to travel domestically and overseas and extended hours when needed are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Thermal, Mechatronics Engineering, or relevant field with 4 to 6 years of working experience in semiconductor manufacturing industry.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication for internal/external customers support and R&D collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective technical consultation and onsite support for handling/probing and thermal issues.
• Consolidate and monitor failure trend and review data with GSEC and R&D for product improvement.
• NPI evaluation support and evaluation preparation and execution.
• Compile data analysis and conclusions with R&D.
• Suggest solution improvements and collaborate with R&D to enhance solution reliability and robustness for production deployment.
• Quality and Safety: handle product safety tracking, RFI, FCO, ANZEN; ensure training for field service team and customers.
