Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site installation, maintenance, and technical support for advanced OEM equipment across Melaka and surrounding regions.

You will quickly respond to outages, diagnose complex electrical and mechanical issues, and perform precise hardware repairs while collaborating with regional teams and headquarters. Willingness to travel regionally for training and support is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years hands-on field service or equipment engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site installation, maintenance, and technical support for advanced OEM equipment.
• Respond to emergency system outages, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Interpret drawings and schematics to diagnose faults and perform precise hardware repairs.

• Serve as the key technical liaison between regional customers and headquarters.
• Travel regionally for product training and process support.

• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage to liaise with regional stakeholders.
