XP Power in Ipoh, Malaysia, seeks an experienced Facility Manager to lead maintenance, security, cleaning and landscaping across our site.

You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all facility systems, supervise external contractors, and ensure safety, compliance, and budget adherence.

With a minimum of five years in a similar role, strong project management skills, and fluent English, you will drive continuous improvements and a safe, efficient workplace.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience operating facility systems such as chillers and air compressors.
• Project management experience.
• Organized and agile to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise, train, and manage maintenance, security, cleaning, and landscaping staff.
• Manage and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for all facility systems, including security equipment, and cleaning and landscape management.
• Monitor compliance with local and state regulations across building, electrical, plumbing, fire, safety, and security systems.
• Oversee daily site security operations, ensuring access control and protection of company assets.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and infrastructure to determine maintenance or improvements needed.
• Scrap Control: monitor disposal or recycling of scrap materials in compliance with regulations.
• Develop specifications and statements of work, and recommend expenditures for facility-related projects.
• Estimate costs and obtain bids for major facility projects.
• Initiate purchase orders and schedule facility works.
• Oversee external contractors to ensure compliance with specifications, safety, and timelines.
• Conduct security risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Lead incident response for facility, security, or safety events; ensure proper reporting.
• Ensure staff meet job requirements, receive training, and follow procedures.
• Perform supervisory and administrative functions in line with company policies.
