Job summary

TP is seeking a dedicated Facilities Officer/Manager to oversee daily operations of our offices in Malaysia, ensuring a safe, clean and well-maintained environment across locations.

You will conduct regular inspections, coordinate with vendors for maintenance, monitor requests, manage utilities, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The role requires on-site work and strong communication with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Building Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience in facilities management, building maintenance or office administration is an advantage.
• Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to liaise effectively with vendors, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of building systems, maintenance and workplace safety.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Willing to work on-site and support facilities operations across different locations when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily facilities operations to ensure the office environment is safe, clean and well-maintained.
• Conduct regular inspections of office facilities, equipment and common areas to identify maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors and service providers for maintenance, repairs and facility-related services.
• Monitor and manage facilities-related requests, ensuring issues are resolved within the expected timeline.
• Assist in managing office utilities, air-conditioning, lighting, plumbing and electrical maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance schedules, service reports, invoices and facility-related documentation.
• Support office renovation, relocation, space planning and facilities improvement projects when required.
• Monitor facilities expenses and assist with budget tracking and cost control.
• Respond promptly to urgent facilities issues and coordinate the necessary corrective actions.
