Job summary

Allied Group Property Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Building Operations Manager to oversee maintenance, security, cleaning and general upkeep across our properties. You will lead staff and contractors, schedule preventative maintenance, manage budgets and procurement, and ensure compliance with Malaysian codes and safety standards.

Applicants should have 2–3 years in facilities management, strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety) and a proven track

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in building or facilities management in construction or property management
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety and security systems
• Experience managing maintenance budgets and controlling costs
• Excellent leadership and ability to supervise staff
• Proficiency in building management software and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Oversee building operations including maintenance, security, cleaning and upkeep
• Manage and supervise building staff, contractors and service providers
• Conduct regular inspections of building systems and common areas
• Develop and manage maintenance schedules, budgets and procurement
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies; coordinate repairs
• Ensure compliance with building codes, health and safety regulations
• Liaise with tenants to address concerns and resolve complaints
• Maintain records of maintenance, expenditures and contracts
• Plan preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime
• Monitor utility consumption and implement cost-saving initiatives
