Jora Malaysia is seeking a licensing and regulatory affairs leader to oversee the Group Licensing & Authority function and ensure smooth daily operations. You will plan, assign and monitor the Executive’s work while reviewing licence applications and renewals for timely submissions.

Lead the Group Licensing & Authority function and ensure daily operations are carried out effectively. This role involves planning, assigning and monitoring the daily work of the Executive, reviewing licence applications, renewals and supporting documents, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements across the organisation.

Plan, assign and monitor the daily work of the Executive
Review licence applications, renewals and supporting documents before submission to Management or relevant authorities
Monitor the overall performance of the licensing function and ensure all licence renewals are completed within the required timeline
Provide guidance and support to the Executive on licensing and regulatory matters
Provide on-the-job training and knowledge sharing to the Executive to ensure consistency in work quality and compliance requirements
Prepare management reports, improvement proposals and recommendations relating to licensing processes
Maintain a Group Master Licence Register for AN Group and its subsidiaries
Liaise with relevant government authorities including KPDN, APAD, JPJ, PUSPAKOM, BOMBA, DOE and other regulatory authorities where applicable
Identify potential licence expiry or compliance risks and highlight them to Management for immediate action
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Legal Studies, Public Administration or related field
Minimum 5 years of working experience in licensing, permits, regulatory affairs or government authority coordination
Experience in handling licence applications, renewals and government authority submissions is preferred
Good planning, coaching and leadership skills
Familiar with government authority requirements such as KPDN, APAD, JPJ, PUSPAKOM, BOMBA, DOE and local Authorities
Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English
Good communication and coordination skills
Good document management and record keeping skills
Able to manage multiple tasks and meet renewal deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
