We are seeking a highly capable and versatile Assistant Manager (General Affairs, HR & Administration) to join a leading global logistics and supply chain solution provider at our Malaysian subsidiary. This role is designed for a strategic and operational leader who will directly oversee and harmonize our General Affairs (GA), Human Resources (HR), and administrative functions, while acting as a bridge to corporate finance and accounting operations.
As the Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that corporate operations run smoothly, remain strictly compliant with Malaysian regulatory frameworks, and align with global corporate standards. Your primary objective will be to manage complex corporate licensing, maintain regulatory approvals, manage expatriate visa applications and renewals, and lead daily HR initiatives—from workforce administration and policy execution to labor compliance.
In this multi-faceted leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing corporate licensing required for international logistics and transport operations, including customs broker licenses, transport permit maintenance, and company secretarial or statutory documentation. You will also manage complete visa processing lifecycles for expatriate management through ESD (Expatriate Services Division) and MDEC platforms. On the HR front, you will drive operational excellence in payroll oversight, employee relations, recruitment support, performance tracking, and health & safety compliance (OSHA).
Furthermore, having a strong foundation or working knowledge of basic accounting principles (such as accounts payable/receivable context, budgeting, and invoice verification) will allow you to effectively manage vendor contracts, review department expenditures, and facilitate smooth communication between General Affairs, HR, and the Corporate Finance team. If you thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment where your compliance expertise, operational drive, and leadership skills can make an immediate impact, we welcome your application.
