Job summary

BJC Foods (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a logistics-focused professional to develop and implement transportation strategies, oversee daily operations, and ensure timely delivery of goods. You will manage inventory, coordinate with internal teams, and drive efficiency in a food manufacturing environment.

The role requires 3–4 years of logistics experience, strong leadership, and knowledge of GMP, FSSC 22000, and OHSAS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of GMP, FSSC 22000, OHSAS, and security policies.
• Strong mentoring, leadership, and people management skills.
• Experience in warehouse security programs and vehicle inspections.

Job description

This role involves developing and implementing strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods, managing daily logistics operations, and overseeing inventory and shipping activities.

Key responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods

Negotiate with vendors and carriers to secure competitive rates and services

Supervise and manage the daily operations of the logistics department

Monitor and coordinate with superior on the movement of goods to ensure timely delivery

Oversee inventory management and hands on in preparing shipping document and activities

Track shipments and ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time

Develop and maintain relationships with third‑party logistics providers

Analyze and improve existing logistic processes to optimize efficiency

Monitor and report on logistics performance metrics

Perform application on E‑Permit for export shipments through E‑Dagang and follow up on supporting documents from relevant department as per customer requirement

Job Requirements

Minimum Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited university.

Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.

Good knowledge and understanding of GMP, FSSC 22000, OHSAS, and security policies and procedures.

Strong mentoring, leadership, and people management skills.

Experience in warehouse security programs, vehicle/truck inspections, and related security procedures.

Ability to build and maintain a cohesive, collaborative, and positive working environment.
