Jora Malaysia is seeking an Executive / Senior Executive Operations (Logistics) to manage shipping and documentation, ensuring compliance with import/export rules. You will work with Customer Service and Sales to resolve client issues, organize truck loads, and optimize routing for efficiency and profitability.
The role requires 3–5 years in warehouse/logistics, strong problem solving, and proficiency with MS Office. Mandarin speakers are preferred and cross-department liaison is expected.

Handle the full spectrum of shipping and logistics documents, ensuring compliance with import and export regulations.
Collaborates with Customer Service and Sales Team to solve customer issues as they arise.
Works to organize truck loads and routing schedules for increased efficiency and profitability.
Review shipping and logistics documents (import and export shipments) for contract terms and obtain relevant approval from the purchaser for payment remittance.
Demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills are required; ability to apply knowledge and experience to implement solutions and analyze new issues is critical.
To ensure effective two-way communication and liaise with departments to be aware of issues affecting the logistics of vehicle movement.
Carry out regular vehicle gate checks to ensure continued compliance.
Liaise with in-house and third-party transporters to plan deliveries with minimum failure.
To effectively allocate jobs to drivers, ensuring that full information is given, and all paperwork is completed and checked for the delivery and collection of vehicles
To control costs through effective geographical planning and utilization of return trips, monitoring the location of the Drivers and vehicles on route against arrival times
Arrange for insurer adjusters/independent bodies/surveyors for cargo reported/received in damaged condition to mitigate business risk.
Responsible for General issue Reporting & handling- Accident/ cargo drop/ cargo missing
Handle and control petty cash (keep update the report)
Responsible for the preparation of appropriate and accurate logistics reports for upper management
Assist in overseeing and managing overall operational control, cost of goods , insurance premiums ,including budget preparation and cost management
Monitor ongoing project activities and evaluate performance on a weekly and monthly basis.
Perform any other jobs / function which may assigned by the superior or management from time to time.
Requirements:
Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Degree or equivalent.
Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in warehouse management, preferably in the logistics or manufacturing industry.
Computer literate (Excel, words, PowerPoint and etc.
Strong interpersonal skills, problem solver and planner with organizational and analytical ability.
Resourceful and independent with good initiative, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
