Job summary

AEON Co. (M) Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Executive/Executive, Legal (Contract) to draft, vet and review commercial documents and provide timely legal advice to business divisions. You will monitor legal developments and support regulatory compliance across the group.

The role requires a law degree (LLB) and 1–2 years’ legal experience, with strong drafting, analytical and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and the ability to work under pressure.

Senior Executive/ Executive, Legal (Contract)

To draft, review and peruse legal documents, provide legal advice to various business divisions in the Company and keep up-to-date with changes and developments in the law.

Responsibilities:

To provide legal advice to respective business divisions of the Company.

To draft, vet and review all commercial documentations for the Company.

To highlight, monitor and deal with potential or imminent threatened legal action(s) against the Company and liaise with external solicitor(s) on litigation matters and/or Industrial Relation disputes.

To monitor changes and updates to relevant laws and regulatory issues that may impact the business.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.

Possess at least 1 or 2-year(s) experience in legal field.

Strong drafting, communication and presentation skills, strong analytical, problem solving, legal research and legal drafting skills.

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Good interpersonal skills and adaptability qualities.

Attentive to details and able to work with minimum supervision.

Computer literate and familiar with MS Office.

Preferably Senior Executives/ Executive specializing in Law/Legal Services or equivalent.

Full-Time position.
