Job summary

YYC taxPOD is seeking a Senior Event & Marketing Executive to lead end-to-end event planning and digital marketing initiatives in Kuala Lumpur. You will oversee cross-functional campaigns, content creation and on-site event execution while guiding junior team members.

The role requires at least 3 years in digital marketing or related fields, strong communication, and fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. Join a hands-on team driving engaging campaigns and successful events.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communication, or related field.
• At least 3 years of proven working experience in Digital Marketing or similar role.
• Knowledge of digital marketing funnels and setup (paid ads, email marketing, social media).
• Skilled in photography and videography or willingness to learn photo/video shooting and editing.
• Experience in a project coordination role, good team player, willingness to learn and with strong communication skills.
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, resourceful, creative and committed to the mission.
• Required Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin; Mandarin proficiency essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end event operations including planning, logistics, vendor coordination, customer experience and on-site execution.
• Support the Event Manager in delivering large-scale corporate events, webinars, workshops, and sales launches.
• Plan, execute and optimize integrated digital marketing campaigns to drive brand visibility, lead generation and conversion.
• Lead campaign planning across social media, paid advertising, email marketing, and digital platforms.
• Oversee content development for social media and promotional materials; direct copywriting, graphic design, photography and video production.
• Supervise and guide junior event and marketing team members; ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Monitor KPIs, analytics and ROI; prepare reports and insights for management.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Designers, External Vendors, and Partners.
• Assist in strategic initiatives, SOP development and workflow efficiency.
