Job summary

YHP Event Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an events and marketing executive to plan, coordinate, and deliver conferences, product launches, and corporate meetings. You will manage venues, budgets, vendor negotiations, and develop promotional content.

The role also covers marketing strategies, social media, market research, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years' experience are preferred; own transport is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in event planning and marketing.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Creative thinker with a passion for event planning and marketing.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Preferably possess own transport.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute events such as conferences, seminars, product launches, and corporate meetings.
• Coordinate event logistics including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation.
• Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Develop event programs, schedules, and promotional materials.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events and increase attendance.
• Create engaging content for social media, email campaigns, and marketing collateral.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure cohesive event and marketing strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors and media contacts.
