Job summary

Sevenue in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Event Executive to work with our Events team to host engaging events that boost our clients' campaigns, brand identity and visibility. You will manage the entire event process from planning to delivery.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in handling virtual or physical events, strong project management, excellent English and Bahasa Melayu, and the ability to drive a car.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience handling virtual or physical events.
• Experience in project management with successful events.
• Strong problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, produce, execute, and manage events end-to-end.
• Support logistics, registration systems, exhibitor coordination, vendor liaison, floor management, and on-ground execution.
• Act as a key liaison between internal teams, clients, vendors, venues, suppliers, government bodies, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate and liaise with event vendors, including sourcing, negotiating quotations, confirming agreements, and ensuring timely delivery of services.
• Assist in obtaining relevant government and non-government event permits, approvals, and supporting documents.
• Prepare event-related documents such as proceedings, briefing notes, duty lists, schedules, collaterals, and reports.
• Monitor and update event progress, report status to management, and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist with onsite event management during rehearsals, setup, event day, and teardown.
• Propose ideas to improve event services, workflow, execution quality, and client experience.
• Ensure each event is executed professionally and per requirements.
• Work on ad-hoc event-related tasks and other agency projects when required.
