Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd, a leading ASEAN bank, is seeking a seasoned Corporate Relationship Manager in Penang to manage assigned accounts, grow profitability and cross-sell bank products.

You will engage with senior executives, monitor account performance, ensure regulatory compliance and deliver timely banking solutions, while building lasting relationships across commercial portfolios.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance / Business Administration / Economics / Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in banking, preferably corporate/commercial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build long-term relationships with senior executives.
• Proven sales and business development track record.
• Knowledge of financial markets and products.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Managing assigned accounts/relationships, ensuring all credit facilities are fully utilized.
• Monitoring the performance of each account, identifying improvements to profitability.
• Cross selling other bank’s products such as investment banking, treasury and insurance.
• Growing existing customers’ relationship by providing quality banking services promptly.
• Responding quickly to customer queries and resolving issues timely.
• Building relationships with key decision makers within each account.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and policies when managing accounts.
• Preparing regular reports to track progress and identify risks or opportunities.
• Keeping abreast of market developments and trends to better serve customers.
