Job summary

Ninja Van is seeking a Finance Operations Senior Associate to join the Cross Border team within the Business Operations vertical. The role focuses on AR, collections, disputes, and process improvement across cross-border finance flows.

The successful candidate will collaborate with local finance and operations to ensure timely payments, accurate month-end billing, and strong controls while guiding junior team members on BAU tasks and improvement projects.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• Preferably candidates with a logistics background and regional exposure.
• Detail oriented with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel with advanced formulas and data analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Generate AR visibility reports for stakeholders.
• Monitor shipper payment receipts to identify poor paymasters.
• Lead meetings with local finance on AR processes and alignment.
• Manage provisions and write-offs for the business unit.
• Ensure timely collections of aged receivables and adherence to COD processes.
• Support intercompany finance and billing flows for cross-border deals.
• Document and maintain internal finance working instructions and SOPs.
• Prepare month-end billing for cross-border revenue and coordinate with local finance.
