Job summary

Ninja Van Malaysia is seeking a proactive Sea Freight Operations Associate to coordinate end-to-end bookings, documentation, and customer communications in a fast-paced environment. You will liaise with internal teams, freight forwarders, and customs authorities, ensuring accurate paperwork, timely filings, and responsive support to customers, with a focus on quality service and issue resolution.

The role requires 1–2 years in sea freight or freight forwarding, familiarity with Malaysia customs

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of operational or customer service experience in sea freight.
• Understanding of import/export docs and sea freight workflows.
• Familiarity with Malaysia customs processes is a plus.
• Proficient in CRM software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison for sea freight shipments between internal teams and vendors.
• Coordinate bookings, documentation, and customer billing.
• Provide customers with shipment status and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve customer inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Ensure on-time submission of customs docs and compliance filings.
