Job summary

Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad seeks a senior credit risk analytics professional to identify risk-based segments and build portfolio dashboards. The role focuses on exposure, growth, concentration, and dynamic risk indicators across industry, geography, and collateral types.

Responsibilities include analyzing credit performance, developing risk metrics, and supporting underwriting decisions with cohort and vintage analyses and early warning models.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills required.
• Proficiency with financial data tools and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of credit/research principles and risk indicators.

Responsibilities

• Identify better/worse internal segments using risk-adjusted metrics.
• Build/maintain dashboards for portfolio governance (exposure, growth, risk indicators).
• Segment portfolio by industry, subsector, product, geography, collateral to reveal concentration.
• Analyze credit performance trends and early delinquency signals.
• Develop and refine risk metrics for appetite refinement and pricing decisions.
• Conduct cohort and vintage analyses to compare underwriting periods with outcomes.
• Develop EWIs and flags linked to facility behavior to monitor risk.
• Provide insights for underwriting and reviews including peer benchmarking.
