Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Malaysia) Berhad in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Credit Analyst to conduct comprehensive risk assessment for Commercial and Corporate applications, ensuring timely credit decisions and strict adherence to credit policies.

You will collaborate with Lending Units, monitor regulatory requirements, and strengthen governance through data analysis, insightful reporting, and guidance on credit structuring to protect asset quality.

Qualificações

• 5–8 years of banking/financial-institution experience in credit analysis or loan origination.
• Proficient data processing and analysis using Excel, SQL, etc.
• Familiar with Python or other programming languages with ability to automate data processing and analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive and timely credit risk assessment for Commercial and Corporate applications, providing credit risk mitigation and recommendations to enable credit decision-makers to formulate a well-informed decision, with the objective of satisfying borrowers' needs and protecting the Bank's asset quality.
• Ensure compliance of the Bank's credit policies, applicable rules and regulations, guidelines & procedures while maintaining a balance in promoting profitable business growth and preserving asset quality.
• Respond promptly to requests from Lending Units/ Branches within the agreed turnaround time.
• Work closely with Lending Units/ Branches to identify and mitigate credit risks. Act as a key reference point for credit related matters and provide guidance on credit structuring and risk mitigation where necessary.
• Provide coaching and guidance to Lending Units/Branches periodically to enhance credit quality and risk awareness.
• Provide support on matters related to Bank’s credit and risk management infrastructure, including policy updates, process improvements and systems
