Hong Leong Bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Banking professional in Malaysia to build and manage a portfolio of corporate clients. The role involves acquiring new accounts, growing funded and non-funded income, and delivering tailored financial solutions.

You will prepare credit applications, monitor asset quality, and collaborate with product teams to meet client needs while ensuring compliance with lending policies. Strong relationship-building and cross-selling are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in commercial loan/sales.
• Credit writing skills (added advantage)

Responsabilités

• Acquire new account relationships.
• Manage a portfolio of existing Commercial Banking Account relationships to grow funded and non-funded income.
• Provide value-added banking advice and customized financial solutions to optimize revenue from the portfolio.
• Write credit applications for new account acquisition and ensure timely review and renewal of existing accounts.
• Ensure asset quality of the portfolio via market intelligence on accounts and industries.
• Collaborate with product partners (Trade Services, Global Markets, Deposit & Liability Management) to meet client needs.
• Ensure facilities offered comply with credit lending policies.
• Address key risks in CAs before Wholesale Credit submission.
• Preserve asset quality of the bank at all times.
• Monitor utilization of facilities to increase revenue.
• Follow through with clients to secure acceptance and drawdown of facilities.
• Identify and contact prospects; evaluate financing needs; prepare and follow up on credit offers.
• Monitor utilization and process ad-hoc requests; review borrower's facilities annually; maintain client contact; explore cross-selling.

Degree in Finance / Economics or equivalent
