Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is recruiting for a Corporate Banking professional to manage a client portfolio, assess loan applications, and drive cross-selling of banking products. You will monitor portfolio profitability, build strong client relationships, and ensure strict CDD/KYC compliance.

The role requires a recognised degree, strong sales orientation, and excellent communication skills within a dynamic, target-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree or Diploma/Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Strong interest in financial planning and a sales-driven environment.
• Strong business acumen and a proactive, self-starter attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, evaluating loan applications and conducting credit reviews.
• Market and cross-sell banking products and services to clients.
• Monitor facility utilisation and profitability of the portfolio.
• Build rapport and network to maintain account relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Establish trusted advisor relationships to provide financial guidance.
• Identify client needs and capture new financing or cross-selling opportunities; negotiate margins for profitability.
• Ensure accuracy of customer due diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC).
